Erocom Global Ventures respects your privacy. This notice explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, who we share it with and the rights you have under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Who we are
Erocom Global Ventures (business name registration number BN DE20855) is the data controller responsible for your personal information. Our office is at No. 55-58, NNPC Housing Complex Road, Ekpan-Effurun, Uvwie LGA, Warri, Delta State.
For any privacy question or request, email info@erocomglobalventures.com or call +234 816 856 2662.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our website, we collect the details you choose to give us:
- your full name;
- your phone or WhatsApp number;
- the product category you are interested in; and
- any details you add, such as quantities, your location or your farm.
If you call us, email us or message us on WhatsApp, we also receive the information contained in that conversation.
We do not ask for sensitive information, such as health, religious or financial details, and we ask that you do not include it in your enquiry.
How we use your information
We use your information only to:
- respond to your enquiry with prices, availability and advice;
- prepare, supply and deliver your orders; and
- keep records of our dealings with you, as the law requires.
We process your information because you have asked us to respond to you or to supply you, which is necessary to take steps towards, or carry out, an agreement with you. Where the law requires us to keep records, we do so to meet that legal obligation.
We will never sell your personal information, and we will not send you marketing messages unless you have agreed to receive them.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with trusted service providers who help us run this website and our communications, and only as far as they need it:
- Netlify, which hosts this website and receives the enquiry form on our behalf;
- Zoho, which provides our business email; and
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us on WhatsApp.
Some of these providers store information outside Nigeria. Where this happens, we rely on providers that apply recognised safeguards to protect personal data, as the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 requires.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, for example to a regulator or the police.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to two years after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer. Customer and order records are kept for as long as the law requires for business and tax purposes. After that, we delete your information securely.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other websites. Your browser may briefly remember small preferences on this site, such as having closed our WhatsApp message bubble; this information stays on your device. Our web fonts are provided by Google Fonts, which receives your device’s internet address when the page loads.
How we protect it
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep your information secure, including encrypted connections to this website and restricting access to your details to the people who need them to serve you.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to:
- be told how your personal information is used, as set out in this notice;
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information, or to stop or restrict using it;
- object to our use of your information;
- receive your information in a commonly used format, or ask us to send it to another organisation; and
- withdraw any consent you have given, at any time.
To use any of these rights, email info@erocomglobalventures.com. We will respond as promptly as we can, and in any case within the time the law allows. We may need to confirm your identity first.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), the regulator for data protection in Nigeria.
